Can you play FIFA 22 on PS5 with PS4 players?
There is no crossplay between the PS5 version and the PS4 version of FIFA 22. So, if you are have a PS5 and you want to play FIFA 22 with your PS4 friends, you'll need to purchase the PS4 version of the game. Once you have downloaded the PS4 version of FIFA 2 you can play with your PS4 friends.

Would it be simple to access ultimate team between the PS4 and 5 version? Like is it a seemless switch on UT? Thanks this may effect my purchase as play with my mates who only have PS4

Yes with the ultimate edition you get PS4 and PS5 version, it's seamless to switch and you can play with all your PS5 UT on PS4.

Ultimate edition can seamlessly switch. But you need to install both versions. Coop similar to last year

finally I found someone with a similar question, thank you. So, just to make sure: my friend (ps4) and I (ps5) can use the same FUT 22 account after downloading the Ultimate Edition, only he’ll play fifa22 on ps4 online against ps4 players and I (after he finished playing and logged out) will play fifa22 on ps5 against ps5 players.
