How does OTW work in FIFA 22?
If a OTW player transfers/goes on loan during the season the OTW item keeps the player's latest in-form until the player receives an IF at their new club. At that point the OTW item will be updated with the player's new club and latest IF item.

When player receives an in-form item in FIFA 22
This OTW cards will receive a permanent stat boost whenever the player receives an in-form item in FIFA 22. If the player is featured as the Team of the Week (TOTW) or the man of the match, then they will get stat bonuses in particular attributes. Being featured in a TOTW is reflective of a great performance and the player likewise.
Player's condition: Recieve an in-form item in FIFA 22
Their OTW player card will boost whenever a player item receives an in-form addition in FIFA 22, Ultimate Team mode. A typical example of this scenario is when a player features in a Team of the Week (TOTW) in FIFA 22.
Team conditions: If an OTW player's real-life club wins a certain number of matches
OTW player items in FIFA 22 can also receive a one-time extra boost to their overall if their real-life team does well and wins a certain number of matches.

FIFA 22 OTW features some of the biggest names in world football, including the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. However, only three-player items have received an upgrade on their initial overall so far.
When will team 1 and team 2 of the OTW cards be released?
Like last year, there will be a total of 28 OTW cards in FIFA 22. Team 1 release is October 1st. It will be available until October 8th. On October 3rd, three more OTW cards will be added. Team 2 will be released on October 8th and will remain available until October 13th.
Which Players Get An OTW Card In FIFA 22?
In the past years, 28 players have been released as OTW. You can get them in packs for a limited time and also get them through the transfer market for your FIFA 22 Ultimate Team. Also, OTWs can be available as a time limited SBC.

As we said: only get OTW cards from players who you think will play a lot and therefore have the chance to receive their Informs. But also look out for strong teams. After the Win Upgrades it will be difficult to choose a OTW Card that will increase further. TOTW candidates are also interesting for you.
