Don't bother with youth academy in FIFA 16 if you want pacey players. Regens (with or without teams) has allways get the best pace and you can buy and train them. You can get the best result in Youth Academy on GK's and CB'S. FIFA 16. And that "bucket" effect is strong as hell in FIFA 16.
Is it possible to train players in FIFA 17 and 18?
They fixed last year. In FIFA 16, you can't find fast players from Youth Scouting and if you train them, their physicals not grow. But in FIFA 17 and 18, you can train them as much as you want. For example, i have a Greek winger and Canadian striker. I train the shit out of that striker and his phsysicals still growing.
