Ultimate Packs are rarely available in the promo packs section of the store as they are the most high-end packs you can get.
Probabilities
We are yet to see an Ultimate Pack in the store, so we don't have any official pack probabilities just yet from EA.
How do FUT packs work?
FUT Packs with more players give you a better chance of packing someone good. Packs with only rare items reduce the potential players you can get by 66% roughly making it 3 times more likely to pack someone good (if it were equal chance). EA likely can manipulate pack weights for specific accounts because it’s their game ...
Is the chance of packing a good player slim?
The problem with all this is that, like winning the lottery, the chance of packing a good player is still very slim even if 23 other players have been removed from the pool of players possible to pack, it’s an increased chance of packing a player than normal for sure, but it’s still a very low chance.
Do packs have odds?
Now that pack odds are required to be disclosed in certain markets, packs that aren’t bought have no odds on them. Unless you see the odds change on paid for packs, and they do when a promotion is run (e.g. TOTY items are in packs), then they likely don’t change the odds for paid packs.
Introduction to the FIFA 21 Pack Odds
It was in FIFA 19 that EA revealed the odds of getting a highly-rated player in every pack available on the FUT store. In other words, pack probabilities detailed the likelihood of what you get in every pack that you purchase.

Taking the pack of the above image as an example, it’s guaranteed that you would find at least one gold player when opening a Prime Gold Players Pack. You would also have decent chances to pull one or more 82+ rated players and you would have 4,2% chances to find at least one 86+ rated player there.
How We Can Use Pack Probability in FUT
FUT Pack Odds was a great step but we would like to go further. Wouldn’t be great to know what are the chances of packing an Icon or any other player? What about knowing how much we have to spend, on average, to pull a specific card? We would also love to calculate the average return estimated value for every pack.
