They are obligated by law to give you Federal holidays off, but then make you work the weekend prior AND after to make up for it. The weak links that have been there forever get away with doing nothing while the hard workers get to pick up the slack. Management tells you "we are here for you", yet they are never there when you need them. If you are young and living with your parents, or married and are part of a duel income,the pay isn't bad. If you are a single parent like me..... you will work yourself to death and live in poverty.

I’ve been at the company since 2013. It has been good to me and my fam. When I first got there they gave us free tickets to both baseball games minor and the majors. Since then they have been cutting back every since. Overall the company is still good they still do what they can to keep moral high.
Awesome Place to work
The training i received was hands down the best i ever participated in i was welcomed into the team the first day and loved the people and culture . Most of the people there have been there for 40 years or more.
Excellent Job
I loved it here I was sad to be let go but hopefully I’ll get a similar job to this one. I grew a family here and everyone always helped another out even though we were in other departments we always helped another out.

Continuous improvement integrated into culture
The first several years at Milgard there was lots of room to expand and grow. The ability to move up without a formal education became an impossible task after two promotions.
