It is also used by the Los Angeles Wildcats of the XFL, and hosted Los Angeles Chargers games between 2017 and 2019, as the NFL team completed work on its new SoFi Stadium, which was inaugurated in 2020.
Lumen Field, Seattle
Also home to NFL franchise the Seattle Seahawks and NWSL team OL Reign, Lumen Field was built in 2002 and has hosted the Seattle Sounders’ MLS home games since the team joined the league in 2009. Providence Park, Portland
Originally built in 1956, the 25,000-capacity Providence Park was renovated in 2011, the year in which the Portland Timbers moved into the arena for their debut campaign in MLS. Its initial post-revamp capacity was around 21,000, before a further 4,000 seats were added in 2019.
Red Bull Arena, Harrison
With a capacity of 25,000, Red Bull Arena was inaugurated in 2010 and has been the home stadium of MLS team New York Red Bulls since then. The venue has staged the MLS All-Star Game, home matches for the USMNT and USWNT, and the Trophée des Champions, French football’s season curtain-raiser between the Ligue 1 and Coupe de France winners.
